Andrew Hanson

Drew Hanson is the President and Co-Founder of TWIG, with a professional background spanning education, leadership, business development, and mass timber project delivery. His career in education built a foundation for listening, understanding complex needs, and developing solutions around the people and organizations he serves. For the past five years, Drew has worked directly with owners and AEC teams on mass timber projects from early development and design-assist through procurement, fabrication, and erection. His work focuses on building strong client relationships, connecting the right industry expertise, and helping teams navigate the coordination required to move complex mass timber projects successfully from concept to completion.

Joshua Schultz

Dr. Joshua A. Schultz, PhD, PE, LEED AP is a Full Professor at Gonzaga University with more than 15 years of experience spanning mass timber, materials, manufacturing, quality assurance, and third-party certification. His specialized expertise includes mass timber and cross-laminated timber (CLT) material behavior, including shrinkage, cracking, moisture response, and manufacturing variability. His professional background combines academic research in materials science and wood behavior with extensive firsthand experience supporting CLT and glulam manufacturing, quality assurance, and certification across multiple production facilities. His work is informed by ANSI/APA standards, ISO-aligned quality systems, and practical experience with mass timber production and manufacturing processes.

Ariana holds the roles of system development, communications, media, outreach, and business support. She brings a host of experience to our team: from years of working within communications and development in forest restoration, and a decade as a clinical social worker, Ariana is skilled at strategizing and problem solving at the intersection of people and place. While spending her free time hiking with her dog to high alpine lakes, she is overjoyed to blend her passion for supporting our client’s visions with her passion for building, design, and promoting a sustainable forest economy. Her commitment to collaboration and relationship building helps TWIG provide the critical role of connector within the industry.
